The OneMintNFT discord server has become compromised, according to CertiK Alert, the platform for real-time alerts on crypto hacks, crypto scams, and flashloans. CertiK Alert made a post on the X app in this regard and advised users to avoid further engagements with the platform until there is a confirmation from the OneMintNFT team that they have regained control.

CertiK Alert’s post read:

“We are seeing reports that the @OneMintNFT Discord server has become compromised. Do not click on links until the team has confirmed that they have regained control. Stay vigilant!”

Details on CertiK Alert’s website showed that it spotted the incident in the early hours of Sunday, September 17, 2023. The summary of the information published a boldly printed “Discord Alert” flagged as an “Exploit”. Further details include the project’s name, OneMint, the ecosystem, Ethereum, a TimeStamp, and the discord URL.

OneMintNFT Discord Exploit Alert on CertiK Alerts

The OneMintNFT team has yet to make any official statement regarding the exploit as of the time of this report. They were silent about the incident on their official X app account and any other platform they used to disseminate information.

Similarly, there was hardly any further information about the incident, even from OneMintNFT’s community members, not even a response to the post by CertiK Alerts. Perhaps the freshness of the exploit contributed to the relative lack of engagement over the issue.

More details about the exploit are expected to unfold in the coming hours, including the opinion of community members and a statement from the project’s team. However, CertiK Alert’s advice to OneMintNFT users remains to avoid engaging with the discord channel until they receive further clarifications from the OneMintNFT team.
