Recently, CoinGecko analytics found out just how popular Bitcoin and crypto is on TikTok. From this data, we see that Bitcoin is the most popular crypto asset on TikTok crypto. In detail, there are 5 million posts totaling to 28 billion views for the hashtags #Bitcoin and #BTC on the platform.

In detail, it seems that the TikTok crypto community‘s most popular hashtags are many. Besides Bitcoin, #crypto boasts 4 million posts and a staggering 30 billion combined views. This dominance outpaces other finance-related tags, including #finance, #investing, and #stocks. Even with 8 million posts, #trading garnered fewer views at 25 billion.

Longer-term hashtags like #cryptocurrency have 2 million posts and 10 billion views. Meanwhile, #cryptok, a TikTok-native combination of ‘crypto’ and ‘TikTok’, entered the top 15 with 2 billion views across 0.32 million posts.

In addition, notable tags like #nNFT, #Metaverse, #NFTs, #DeFi, and #blockchain amassed billions of views. Likewise, #Metaverse and #DeFi exhibited high views-to-posts ratios, indicating potential content demand.

Still, Bitcoin holds dominance with 5 million posts and 28 billion views on #bitcoin and #btc, surpassing Ethereum content. #ETH and #ethereum combined for 1.81 million posts and 8 billion views.

Also on the roster are Dogecoin’s #dogecoin and Ripple’s #XRP ranked among the top 15 crypto hashtags on TikTok, reflecting their market capitalization. Estonia leads in TikTok crypto interest, with 2,293 in the weighted popularity score. Europe dominates the top 15 interested countries, except for Morocco.
