General Updates

Neo Global Development hosted the Seoul GAS Station, including a panel discussion entitled How Token Incentive Models Drive Genuine User Growth. Panelists included representatives from NGD, Perlin Finance, Social Ray, AGLD, Ludium, and Project Twelve.

NGD hosted a Twitter Spaces entitled Building the Future: Hackathon Alumni Experience Sharing II that explored the experiences of previous Neo hackathon participants. The Spaces was moderated by Rebecca, an NGD marketing associate, with Rentfuse co-founder Michael Fabozzi, NeoPay full stack developer Sir Ram Shastri, XOX Labs founder Liven GM, and INTOverse CMO Wei Jun Lim as panelists.

NGD announced three upcoming panels for the Singapore GAS Station taking place Sep. 9 and 10. The first, Decentralized Finance (DeFi): Unleashing the Potential and Overcoming the Obstacles, will feature representatives from NGD, BeWater, OKX, Switcheo Labs, and Cipholio Ventures. The second is entitled Unveiling the Future: Exploring Zero-Knowlegde Proofs in Privacy and Security, featuring participants from NGD, zkPass, CSM Labs, and BOOL Network. The third, The State of the AI and Web3 Market: Trends, Challenges, and Future Prospects, will have panelists from Alibaba Cloud, Alchemy Pay, Leland Ventures, and BNPH.

A new proposal was submitted to GrantShares for an on-chain copy-trading platform. SmartWhales aims to allow investors to follow the other DEX traders and invest together to make profits. The team is requesting 3,700 NEO.

FrankCoin released a second video update on the progress of World of Elements, an RPG adventure game built on the Neo blockchain. Currently, the game is free to play. However, users can purchase unique characters, storylines, and armor using GAS.

Meme2Earn ambassadors released a video highlighting in-person activities that are spreading awareness of the meme-based platform throughout Lagos, Nigeria. Meme2Earn also announced a new batch of ambassadors.

Flamingo Finance shared statistics on the top pools by APR, which included 62% on FRP-bNEO-DOGER, 61% on FLP-bNEO-FUSD, and 56% on FRP-bNEO-SOM. Flamingo also announced a new batch of representatives joining the ambassadors program.

Developer Updates

COZ tech lead Gil Lopes Bueno hosted a development workshop entitled Wallet Connect Integration on Neo’s Official YouTube Channel.

COZ released neon.js v5.5.1, which included a fix to the ScriptBuilder handling of emitting numbers and fully supporting Map contract parameter emitting.

NNT released episode 45 of the Smart Economy Podcast, featuring Rusty Matveev, Chief Strategy Officer at Calaxy. Topics of discussion include Rusty’s entrepreneurial journey, how Calaxy is building a platform to empower creators, the rise of Web3 and the resurgence of the Metaverse, and much more.
