Binance Academy brings Web3 courses to leading European universities

As the cryptocurrency industry evolves, the mainstream interest in getting onboard is growing and, with it, the need of the general public to learn more about its inner workings, so Binance Academy, the learning hub of Binance, one of the largest crypto exchanges, has stepped up.

Indeed, Binance Academy will launch university-accredited courses at several renowned European educational institutions, where students will learn about the dynamic landscape of the crypto sector, blockchain technology, and virtual assets, per the information shared with Finbold on April 16.

Specifically, the leading universities that will welcome Web3 courses include Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), the European Business Institute (EBI) in Luxembourg, and ESCP Business Schools with locations across Europe, including in Madrid, Spain, and Turin, Italy.

What will crypto courses cover?

In particular, the course at Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), titled ‘Digital Assets and Blockchain Industry,’ will last four weeks and focus on Bitcoin (BTC), the crypto industry’s evolution and future, as well as the utility of crypto assets and their influence on traditional financial systems.

Furthermore, Luxembourg’s European Business Institute (EBI) will offer a seven-week course called ‘Blockchain and P2P Fundamentals,’ which covers the wide-ranging uses of blockchain, including mining, smart contract creation, cross-border payments, supply chain management, healthcare, and more.

Finally, the four-week program at ESCP Business School, ‘Blockchain Mastery: From Fundamentals to Advanced Corporate Solutions,’ will offer a holistic comprehensive view of the evolving crypto landscape, decentralized finance (DeFi), its intricacies, and implications for businesses and investors.
